Thank you to everyone who made The 2025 Hope After Loss Annual Gala possible!

We especially want to thank all of the people who were able to join us, the wonderful people we honored throughout the evening and those who nominated them, our generous sponsors and donors and our silent auction donors and bidders.  We also want to thank Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club, Kut the Kord, Kait’s Florals, Nicole Bajwa (for her centerpiece donations), and everyone else who contributed to the success of this event!

In addition to honoring this year's Compassionate Care Award recipients, we also celebrated the 2025 Bereavement Training Scholarship recipients and were able to cheer on several of our volunteer support group facilitators who were in attendance.  We are so grateful to all of them for the wonderful work they did for our community this year.

We all ended the night inspired and relieved to have raised enough funds to hit our budget targets.  You helped to ensure that our programming can continue to bring HOPE to grieving families in need through our support, education/outreach and burial/cremation programs!

In gratitude,

The Gala Planning Committee

Perinatal Bereavement Scholarship

Hope After Loss is pleased to announce that there are scholarship funds available for Connecticut based health care professionals to do continuing education in the area of Perinatal Bereavement. Scholarship recipients honored at the 2025 Hope After Loss Gala.

Our intent is to encourage health care professionals from diverse disciplinary and practice contexts within Connecticut to help us enhance perinatal loss care in the region. Nurses, physicians, physician assistants, genetic counselors, ultrasonographers, psychosocial professionals (chaplains, social workers, child life specialists) and healthcare administrators who regularly work with families experiencing perinatal loss will benefit from this training.

The mission of Hope After Loss is to help those who experience pregnancy or infant loss to find hope. We embrace diversity and inclusion across multiple dimensions, such as race, ethnicity, family structure, gender, and spiritual beliefs. We strongly encourage applicants who will help us expand the perspectives and experiences we bring to our mission, thereby improving our ability to help all families experiencing perinatal loss.

The application deadline is March 15, 2025. Selections will be made by the HAL Board of Directors and awardees will be notified by April 1st, 2025.

If you have questions about this application or scholarship, please contact us atoliviar@hopeafterloss.org.
